Get to know US
We officially started our YouTube channel and had our 1st video ready to post in March of 2020.
Yeah.
So we held onto that video and the second one we had shot until the world opened up again around March 2021. Since then we’ve been having a blast sharing our love of gaming with our viewers.
We’re a group of friends who love board games and laughing – usually at each other. Two guys are named Jason which can be confusing, but it’s all about the games, not the guys. We started with play throughs and reviews, adding unboxings later and then Inside Boardgames (IBG) most recently. IBG features interviews and insight with tabletop designers, publishers, or anyone otherwise related to board gaming.
We love connecting with other board game fans through our videos and at gaming conventions large and small.

Jason aka “Big Jason” or “The Bearded One” or simply “Loud Jason” loves talking to people about lots of things – especially board games! He prefers Deck Builders like the Legendary series by Upper Deck right now, but it was Carcassonne that got him hooked back in the day. Jason is the Chief New Game Buying Officer for the channel and is always in tune with what’s new in board gaming. When not at the gaming table with friends, Jason can be found hanging out with his family – often also at the gaming table.

Jason aka “Other Jason” or “Little Jason” or simply “Weird Jason” says a lot of things – some even make sense. He likes competitive games if they are short and has been known to whine: “If I’m gonna lose, make it fast so I get a chance for quick revenge!” Jason’s first steps into the world of tabletop games came from playing the original Cosmic Encounter with his family and D&D with his friends. Lately Jason is digging on quirky games like Abducktion. On the co-op side, he loves any dungeon crawler like Gloomhaven.
Bob
Bob aka “Bob” is usually the quietest yet kindest of the G3Boardroom crew. He prefers co-op games these days but was first drawn into board games by Risk and Axis & Allies – probably by (Big) Jason, who he’s known pretty much all his life. Later on, one of Bob’s go-to favorites was Settlers of Catan. Back when it was called Settlers of Catan. Besides collecting wood in games, Bob enjoys woodworking at home as well as shooting and editing video – anything that can drive creativity.
